A quick camping tip if you find yourself in wet weather: by digging a shallow moat around your tent if you are on a slope or building up a small dam if you are on flat ground will help divert water from your tent and help keep you dry. Also try bringing an extra tarp... it does wonders to protect your tent from the elements.
