Lake level is 1273.92  this is .08 below normal.  Release is 8 cfs.

Council Grove Marina reports that Channel Cat fishing is good.
Channels are being taken by drifting the flats across from Canning
Creek Recreation Area.  I noted Sunday at lease one boat drifting 
on the Munkers Creek arm.  Live shad works best.

Crappie are reported fair at best.  The "big Crappie" are schooled up somewhere but no one has located them yet.

Bass are report fair as the Neosho River is beginning to clear after
a 2.5 foot rise a couple of weeks ago.
