Abilene Library Doll Collection

As the First Lady of the United States, from 1953 -1961, Mrs. Mamie Eisenhower received these dolls from many foreign countries. The dolls depict the variety of folk art and clothing styles worn by native groups. The collection is on loan from the Eisenhower Center.
