Denmark, was built by settlers out of limestone in the late 1870's. See family constructed pews and a Danish guiding ship replica among rich symbolism in the church.

In Denmark, a late 1800's limestone home furnished with turn-of-the-century pieces and handwork.

On West Lincoln Avenue, Lincoln, features scenes of the pioneer mercantile, doctor, dentist and newspaper offices, hand-painted doll collection and more.

In Lincoln, a Victorian mansion with original furnishings including hand-painted dolls and china. 45 minute guided tours are available.

On Main St. in Sylvan Grove, displays include post rock tools and a large barbed wire collection.

Re-enactment Weekend and Abe Lincoln Look-A-Like Contest - Nationally recognized, it is held Presidents' Day Weekend in February and includes Abraham and Mary Lincoln presenters, Freedom March, Civil War Re-enactment and musicians, located in Lincoln.

March

Ham and Bean Feed - A Lincoln historical Society event held the first Friday evening after Easter. (or April)

Danish Festival - Denmark, is held the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend featuring abelskiver lunch, early-day living demonstrations, style show, entertainment, and games.

June

Sylvan Grove Community Day - It is held the first Sunday in June. Community worship, potluck at noon, free watermelon and hot dogs in the evening.

July

Lincoln County Fair - In Sylvan Grove on July 29, 30, 31. 4-H and open class competition, a 4-H Style Review, tractor pull, and livestock show are held.

August

Madi-Rado - The Beverly Community day held the second Saturday in August. Enjoy craft booths, games, parade, talent show, project sale, fireworks and cattlemen's barbecue.

Post Rock Run, Festival and Custom Car Show - A Lincoln event held the last Saturday in August. It includes a walk, jog, 5k run, parade, games, craft booths, entertainment and dance. Over 45 trophies are awarded at the car show in Lincoln City Park.

October

Lake Wilson Triangle Garage Sale - The event is held the first Saturday in October and includes Lucas, Sylvan Grove and Wilson.

November

Soup Dinner and Bazaar - held at the Denmark Hall on opening day (Saturday) of pheasant season in November.

Holiday Craft Show - At the lincoln Grade School is also held on the opening day (Saturday) of pheasant season in November.

December

Christmas festivities are held in each community.
