Pony Express Museum
Located on 4th and Main Street across the street from the Pony Express Monument. The Museum houses memorabilia from the Pony Express era (1860 - 1862), includes buggies and a blacksmith shop. On display at the museum is an olympic torch from the 1996 Olympic Relay. The museum also assists with the Pony Express Re-ride held annualy in June.
The museum is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Wednesday thru Saturday, 10am to 4pm and Sundays 1-4pm. Call the Sunflower Patch at (785) 336-3406 for more information.
