Historically speaking, the area that was originally designated as a mere stagecoach depot amidst the rolling plains of Northwest Kansas in the 1800's, developed into what we now call home -- Norton. The region is rich in history with the likes of Horace Greely, Buffalo Bill Coady, and Billy the Kid traveling through this vicinity, not to mention the countless Indian tribes that once roamed these spacious prairies.

While Norton has grown substantially since its formative years in the early 1870s, the town has not forgotten it's humble beginnings. Reminders of the past flourish throughout the area.
