Wolf Butterfield House Museum

Wolf House MuseumThe Wolf Butterfield House served as a way station for the Butterfield Stage Line started by David Butterfield in 1865. The limestone house contained dining and sleeping faciltities as well as a tavern for stage line patrons.

Later, the house was used as a boarding house and private residence and is furnished with 19th century period pieces. It is regarded as one of Manhattan's most significant historical sites. Operated by the Riley County Historical Society.
