Event Details

On Saturday, November 1, 2014, Jason and Sherry Ott will host their Fourth Annual Noe’s Night of Light at DiSalvo’s Station Restaurant in Latrobe to benefit The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center. To date, this event has raised more than $101,000 for The Children’s Home & Lemieux Family Center.

Jason and Sherry’s daughter, Noe, was born in July 2009, weighing only 3 lbs 13 oz. She was diagnosed with an extremely rare chromosome disorder. After months in the NICU, Noe transitioned to The Children’s Home & Lemieux Family Center’s Pediatric Specialty Hospital. Here they were able to spend time together in a home-like setting while they learned about the special medical care Noe required.

Noe fought for every day they had together, until a congenital heart condition claimed her life. When faced with the difficult decision of where to spend their final days with her, Jason and Sherry chose The Children’s Home. The talented, multidisciplinary team at The Children’s Home provided the care and comfort Noe needed for the best possible quality of life. The Children’s Home gave them a warm, safe environment where they could make precious memories with their daughter.

Jason and Sherry want to ensure that The Children’s Home remains an option for other families who need the critical services offered through three signature programs: Adoption, Child’s Way®, and the Pediatric Specialty Hospital. This year, proceeds from Noe’s Night of Light will benefit the Pediatric Specialty Hospital at The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center.
