28 - 29 Taylor 4th of July Celebration & Rodeo - Taylor Independence Day celebration is held at the Taylor Rodeo Park. Experience the excitement at the flag raising ceremony, firing of the anvil, barbecue, rodeo, dance, patriotic program, fireworks, Taylor 10K & 2-mile run and softball tournament. 29 Taylor's July 4th Celebration Run - The Run is Open to all ages and will start at the Taylor City Ball Park. Open registration until the race starts. 6:00 AM. Held on Saturday closest to July 4.

Suggested you sign up early and get your shirt size reserved.

If you do not want a shirt, only $4.00 for the run alone. (Shirts will not be reordered).

Pick up a registration form at Taylor Town Hall & the Snowflake Town Hall.

The first three winners in each age category will receive ribbons. The first three winners in each distance category receive trophies.

Remember, participants under age 18 must have Parent or Guardian signature on the registration form.

31 Taylor Sweet Corn Festival - A parade, arts and crafts fair, food vendors, kids' activities, corn hole tournament and fireworks are all part of this annual festival held on Labor Day Weekend celebrating the harvest of Taylor farmers’ primary crop - Sweet Corn. Plenty of sweet corn is available for purchase to enjoy throughout the day or to take home.
