30 Multicultural Festival - The annual Friends of the Library Multicultural Festival presents activities from many cultures, dance performances, visual art demonstrations, music, cultural diversity forum, children's activities include mask making, storytelling and puppet shows, 11 am - 5 pm.

3 Mardi Gras Festival - Hundreds of local revelers are expected to line the streets of Historic Downtown Chandler donning beads, masks and costumes for the Cajun style celebration, scheduled from 6 pm to 11:30 pm.

Historic Downtown Chandler will be teeming with activities all day — from a parade and street festival to Cajun cook-offs, arts & crafts, gourmet food booths, live entertainment, strolling musicians, street performers, jazz music, dancing, costume contests and the crowning of the Mardi Gras King and Queen.

A cocktail reception and registration will kick off the festivities at 6:00 p.m. at di Sciacca. The Mardi Gras Parade runs from di Sciacca to the Crowne Plaza San Marcos Resort at approximately 7:30 p.m. The Crowne Plaza San Marcos Resort is also hosting a dinner, costume contest, music and casino night from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.

Ticket prices are $100 for VIP, which includes a reserved seat, food and beverages and $75 for regular admission, including food and beverage.

24 Arizona Black Rodeo - The event highlights local and national African American rodeo competitors. There will be two shows 1:00pm and 7:00pm featuring bull riding, tie down roping, steer wrestling, steer undecorating, barrel racing and the crowd favorite calf scramble for the little ones.

Bring the entire family and experience one of the one of the best shows on dirt. Arizona Black Rodeo is fun for the entire family.

15 - 16 Chandler Jazz Festival - The Chandler Jazz Festival is Arizona's premier Jazz weekend, featuring over 20 of the state's finest straight-ahead Jazz bands. The downtown area has plenty of free parking available, and attendees may want to bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the outdoor performances. While enjoying many free performances you can also visit the galleries, restaurants and shops that make Historic Downtown Chandler a great place to visit. Friday, 5:00pm -10 pm. 4 4th of July Celebration - Old Fashion Fourth of July at 4 pm, fireworks at 9:30 pm. Celebrate America and our heritage at this fun and festive Independence Day event for the entire family. The festivities are being held at the expanded Tumbleweed Park, and they are being presented by the Chandler Lions Club and the City of Chandler. The Cactus Bike Push, Pull, Peddle Bike Parade will be held at 6 p.m., with each registrant receiving a free gift. The participant with the bike that is decorated best will win a Harro children's bike. Many additional activities surround the event, including live music, a free kids carnival, and food and beverage vendors. Activities include a 35-foot water slide, a rock-climbing wall, a dunk tank, and assorted water games and interactive amusements for kids.
