4 Dust Bowl Marathon - Ulysses KS - Stop out at Frazier Park to watch the participants in the Dust Bowl Marathon. The Dust Bowl Marathon is 5 marathons in 5 states over a 5 day time period. It is a looped marathon around Frazier Lake. The marathon will begin early in the morning and finish by mid afternoon. 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Participants have the option to run a 5K, 10K, 50K, full or a half marathon. You may participate in any or all of the races.

12 Ulysses Main Street Blaze - Bring the family out for an evening of old fashioned fun on Thursday from 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. There will be live entertainment from the gazebo with bonfires and warm refreshments along Main Street. Local merchants throughout Ulysses will have specials going on and some will be open late for your shopping convenience. If you are in the market for a pet for Christmas, stop by the Chamber office, the animal shelter will have animals on display that are eligible for adoption. The Hometown Holiday Shopper drawing will be awarded at the end of Main Street Blaze at the gazebo.
