It's Tapping Time!
- Do you ever wonder where maple syrup comes from? You can find out at the Harriet Alexander Nature Center’s annual "It's Tapping Time!" event. Join us on either Saturday or Sunday; drop-in when you want and stay as long as you wish. Saturday, 10am-4pm Sunday, 12-4pm Volunteers will tap maple trees, collect sap and boil it to make delicious maple syrup. Learn about traditional syruping methods, enjoy Native American stories, and taste maple treats. No charge for this sweet family outing! Earth Day Celebration

Wild Rice Festival
- The Wild Rice Festival is a celebration of wild rice, the fall season, and Dakota and Ojibwe culture. This free event will include artist performances, crafters, wild ricing demonstrations, a variety of family-friendly activities and educational opportunities, and food available for purchase from Pow Wow Grounds Cafe. The Festival is a Zero-Waste event. Annual Tapped & Uncorked
- Outdoors at the Roseville OVAL, sample local beer, wine, cider and distilled spirits while dancing to the live music of Power of 10. Food trucks, fun games like Human Foosball, and more! Roseville Halloween Spook-tacular
- Come out to the Harriet Alexander Nature Center for a Halloween Spook-tacular! Sponsored by Skyline Electric and Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, it's a night of ghostly games, devilish demonstrations and a fun-filled horse-drawn wagon ride! The event is from 4:00-7:00pm and the $7 fee per person ($8 at the door if space remains) includes loads of Halloween fun including the wagon ride, Carnival Hall, Bruce the Bug Guy, refreshments and entertainment at the Halloween fire circle. Children must be accompanied by an adult; costumes are encouraged. Registration is required. Roseville Holiday Craft Fair
- Spread out over two levels, the annual Holiday Craft Fair features more than 50 local crafters and artists selling all-handmade wares, perfect for holiday giving. Items include soaps and balms; natural stone, fused glass, beaded and other fine jewelry; photography; pottery; knitted items; fine chocolates and delicious jams; pure maple syrup, and so much more The Holiday Craft Fair is put on by volunteers from the Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC); all vendor fees go to HANC to support environmental education programs.
