15 Martin Luther King Day Parade and Festivities - Join us to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and commemorate civil rights and justice for all.
Gather at the 5/3 Bank parking lot; the Walk starts at 1:30pm and will proceed down East Main Street from Cedar Street to Court Square. Drivers may follow the walkers.
A short program will follow the march on the East Side of the Courthouse.
All are welcome & encouraged to participate!

31 Lincoln County Apple Festival - It is time once again for the largest annual gathering of people in downtown Lincolnton - the Lincoln County Apple Festival. As always, the Apple Festival promises an abundance of crafts, food, fun....and of course....apples.This is an outdoor festival occupying most of downtown Lincolnton. Includes music performances, activities for children and adults, vendors and food.

The festival continues to grow each year with booth numbers increasing and with crowds seemingly getting larger. Attendance estimates range around 80,000. Currently the booth number total is approximately 175. 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

20 Veteran's Appreciation Cruise In - If you're a fan of classic cars - or if you own a classic car - whether it be American muscle, hot-rods, or classic cruisers - downtown Lincolnton is the place to be on Sunday for the semi-annual Downtown Lincolnton Veterans Appreciation Cruise-In. The event, hosted by the Downtown Development Association of Lincolnton and Holy Cross Lutheran Church is open to all cars and trucks manufactured in or before 1974. 1-5pm.

9 Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony - The annual Lincolnton Veterans Day Parade assembly & line-up is on East Water Street starting at Flint. Everyone is welcome to participate and march.

The parade starts at 11am on East Main Street at Flint St and ends at the Court House.
A short ceremony at East Court Square starts after the parade.

10 Christmas Parade & Christmas Tree Lighting - The Lincolnton Christmas Parade will be held Sunday at 4:00 p.m. The parade will progress from Lincolnton High School, via North Aspen Street, to Court Square where it will flow counter-clockwise around the square and down East Main Street. The parade will end at the intersection of East Main Street and Flint Street. The Lincolnton Christmas Tree Lighting will immediately follow the parade on the East side of Court Square in downtown Lincolnton. The ceremony will include carols and special selections from area choirs. The Lincolnton Christmas Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting is held the Sunday following Thanksgiving each year.
