5 - 6 Icefest - View ice Carvings under technicolor lights on Friday and witness the Ice Carving competitions, demonstrations and more! Envision your favorite animals such as dogs, cats, tigers and bears carved from a block of ice. Play putt-putt within an ice-carved zoo. IceFest creates an exciting schedule of activities for everyone including spectacular ice sculptures created by Olympic, International and local carvers. The purpose of IceFest is to provide a free and fun family-oriented winter celebration that attracts visitors and local residents while also highlighting the many sculptures located in Hamilton, Ohio, City of Sculpture. Hundreds of ice sculptures - over 200 blocks - 40 tons of ice will again be on display!

OH0702007e021 - Hamilton American Cancer Society's Relay for Life - Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at Hamilton High School and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.

Relay offers something for everyone, from the newly diagnosed, to caregivers and friends, to long-term survivors.

Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.

Relay for Life is a Community Event.

20 - 11 Hamilton Farmer's Market - The Hamilton Farmer's Market originally began in 1875 and lasted until the mid-1950's and featured operators peddling goods such as firewood, dairy goods, fruits, vegetables, eggs, crafts, and more. Thanks to the effort of Historic Hamilton, Inc. the Hamilton Farmer's Market is up and running again offering various types of produce and flowers. Specialties include mushrooms, herbs, and beautiful flowers, all of which are locally grown.

27 Dayton Lane Progressive Dinner - TheDayton Lane Historic Area, Inc. is pleased to announce our 5th BiennialProgressive Dinner Party. In1975, a group of neighborhood residents saw a need to band together to helpsave one of the three historic districts in Hamilton.?Over the past 32 years, this neighborhood has seen its rebirth.? Homesranging from the turn of the century mansions of the industrial barons to themore modest homes of their employees have been restored.? Thisneighborhood was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in1985.?

Come celebrate the achievements of our neighborhood as youexplore many of the mansions and homes with a culinary twist. Join all ourguests sampling some fine appetizers and an open bar while you find out inwhich home you will be dining.? 28 Dayton Lane May Promenade Tour of Homes and Art Bazaar -

Spend an afternoon exploring the historic homes and gardens of the industrial barons of Dayton Lane, a slice of Victoriana in Hamilton, Ohio.  See homes never before on tour as well as old favorites.  View completed restoration as well as work in progress.  Experience the district by horse and carriage.  Listen to the melodies from jazz to chamber as several music groups perform throughout the neighborhood.  Pick up a piece of orginal art in our art bazaar.  Enjoy the neighborhood as it appeared 100 years ago.  No automobile traffic is allowed in the district during the tour.  The Wheelmen will be returning to add more period flavor with their period costumes and turn of the century bicycles.

17 - 20 Memorial Day Dog Show in Hamilton - For the last 30 years, the City of Hamilton has been the proud host of the Memorial Day Dog Shows. For four days the city hosts American Kennel Club sanctioned dog shows presented by the Cincinnati Kennel Club and Buckeye Associated Specialities Clubs. These premiere dog shows entertain spectators of all ages! Each day you can expect to see up to 1,800 dogs, visit with vendors of animal related products, and enjoy the Butler County Fairgrounds.

20 Memorial Day Parade - Hamilton has hosted a Memorial Day Parade for over 100 years to honor those who have given the supreme sacrifice during times of war. The parade begins at the Butler County Soldiers, Sailors and Pioneer Monument and ends at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton's original burial ground.

18 - 8 Hamilton's Farmers Market - Hamilton's FarmersMarket takes place on Saturday mornings around the historic Butler County Courthouse on High Street in downtown Hamilton. 10 Cool Critters Outreach at Pyramid Hill - This fun and educational program teaches kids about reptiles and invertebrates. Cool Critters Outreach is a Cincinnati based organization that rescues and teaches the public about these animals. There will be several reptiles visiting and the kids may observe them as Cool Critters Outreach shares fun facts and teaches the kids about the treatment of our cold blooded friends. Presented by Cool Critters Outreach. Show begins at 12:00 in the Festival Pavilion.

13 Antique and Classic Car Parade - Calling all car lovers! Be sure to check out the Annual Hamilton-Fairfield Antique and Classic Car Parade. The parade - one of the oldest and largest of its kind in the country - tours from the staging area in Fairfield to downtown Hamilton for a car show and presentation of trophies.

Parade car check-in will be begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Walmart Supercenter, 1505 Main St. All Parade participants will receive Commemorative Plaques. Over 300 parade cars are expected. Judging will take place between 9:30 and 11:30.

Please NO TENTS or POP-UP ENCLOSURES on ANY of the parade staging sites or stop sites.

The parade to Fairfield will start promptly at 1:00 p.m. The Fairfield stop will be at Fairfield Crossings, Rt-4 and Symmes Rd. The parade will then proceed to Downtown Hamilton at 2:30. Presentation of awards will begin at 3:30. Public viewing of cars at all three locations is free to the public, and restrooms will be available.

We urge you to preregister your parade car, which is free if it is received by July 22nd. Registration the day of the parade will delay check-in and there is a $10.00 fee, so please preregister.

And these cars are something to see! All parade cars must be in prime condition, originals, and unmodified with no aftermarket wheels. This long-standing event is presented by the Antique and Classic Car Club of Butler County, an organization dedicated to preserving the splendor of the majestic older automobile.

The parade of more than 300 vehicles is routed from Hamilton through Fairfield for a public viewing stop before terminating back in downtown Hamilton for a car show and trophy awards. Entertainment is provided by the Fort Hamilton Jazz Band.

14 - 20 Butler County Fair - Nothing says summer like the arrival of county fairs all across Ohio's eighty-eight counties. The Butler County Fair is the counties biggest festival and attracts nearly 100,000 guests in late July, including some 1400 Junior Fair members. The fair boasts rides, games, livestock exhibits and everyone's favorite...fair food!

14 - 15 Annual Pyramid Hill Art Fair - Pyramid Hill Art Fair takes place in one of just ten sculpture parks of its size in the U.S and the only sculpture park of its type in Ohio. Pyramid Hill is 265-acres that combines the lure of nature with the dynamic presence of over 80 pieces of monumental art. Approximately 100 artists display and sell their various types of work within this natural gallery. Bring the whole family for a day in the park! 10am to 6pm.

5 Dayton Lane Ghost Walks - Join us for the Annual Ghost Walks of Dayton Lane as we explore the area in search of spirits (Dead ones that is).  Take a lantern-led evening stroll through one of Hamilton's oldest neighborhoods and discover our ghosts, ghouls and legends.  At the end of the hour-long guided walk, there will be a reception in one of the homes if you dare participate.  Here is your chance to feel the presence of those that walked this earth before us.  Hear the ghost tales from several of the "live" residents of these homes.  Tours leave the (were)Wolf Gazebo in the 900 block of Campbell Avenue.  Dress appropriately for the weather.  We don't want you to confuse the goose bumps on your arms with being too cold!

5 Zombie Ball on Pyramid Hill - Dress as your favorite UnDead characters including zombies, vampires, mummies (or get really creative) and be treated to an evening KILLER entertainment under our grand Pavilion.
