Easter Parade - St. Albans
- St. Albans is sponsoring the annual St. Albans Easter Parade at noon. The Easter Parade is open to all churches, organizations, dance and Scout troops, clowns and individuals who want to walk, sing, wear decorated Easter bonnets and ride on floats or in decorated vehicles.Awards will be presented to the best float, most original float and most original costume for a child and adult. The parade will form at St. Francis Catholic Church lot and proceed to the Loop. Anyone wanting to participate in the parade can call for more information. Call: St. Albans Chamber of Commerce. St. Albans Riverfest
- The annual St. Albans Riverfest 4-day festival has become a favorite and features some great (FREE!) entertainment and river activities. If you are a sternwheeler, you will not feel more welcome anywhere than you are here. Our fireworks display has been recognized as the "most awesome" of any fireworks in the Greater Kanawha Valley. - The gates open at 6:00 p.m. and close at 9:00 p.m. seven nights a week. The Light show is a great family event, funded solely through donations. The Festival exhibits are designed and hand crafted by the Park employees. A 52' Sternwheeler, 40' Castle, 18' American Flag, Penguins and Igloo, and a Fire Breathing Dragon just to name a few. Parking is available to those who would like a visit with Santa. A photographer is available for those wishing to have their picture taken with Santa for a small fee.
