The Heritage Center Museums The Museum depicts life on the plains during the American pioneer movement & westward expansion periods. Exhibits include Indians, pioneers, railroad, agriculture, Victorian and cowtown eras.

Operated by the Dickinson County Historical Society, the museum consists of three separate museums including: the Historical Museum, the Museum of Independent Telephony, and the Outdoor Museum. The Dickinson County Heritage Center also has a fully restored and functional 1901 C.W. Parker Carousel which is the museum's pride and joy. The Dickinson County Heritage Center also has an active research center with many local historical records, and a gift shop.


Admission: Adults:$6, Seniors(62+):$5, Children(2-14):$2, includes Carousel, Carousel Only:$2
Hours: Regular Hours - M-F 9am-3pm, Sat 10am-5pm & Sun 1-5 pm
Memorial Day to Labor Day - M-F 9am-4pm, Sat 10am-8pm & Sun 1-5pm
