25 - 26 18th Century Naval Celebration - This living history weekend, organized by the Marine Royale, commemorates the 275th anniversary of the construction of the French fort at Chimney Point and the start of permanent French settlement in the Champlain Valley. Visit French and British military camps, the gunboat La Vigilante, bateaux and French navy on the beach, land and lake military tactical demonstrations, 18th century medicine, period boat building, open fire cooking, and more.
