13NY0201001e001 - Albany Wurstfest - Escape Cabin Fever and celebrate with us on the "Wurst Night of the Year" at the German-American Club of Albany where we will be serving a hearty German Wurst Dinner Platter and German Bier always flows.

Live music by Vic Meister will be on tap. Doors open at 4 PM. Dinner served at 5 PM. Our Wurst platter will include your choice of 2 Wurst (choose from Bauernwurst, Bratwurst, Knockwurst, or Weisswurst), Rye Bread, German Potato Salad, Sauerkraut, Potato Pancakes, and Apple Sauce at $20 per person. All dinners are served with a garden salad and dessert.

Walk-ins are welcome for live music and dancing at $6 per person. For reservations, please call (518) 489-0831 or (518) 265-6102. In the event of inclement weather, this affair will be held the following Saturday.

27 Fundraiser for The Boma Fund in Kenya - Ladies and Gentlemen, please join us for our next Dining for Women (DFW) event. DFW is a giving circle dedicated to relieving the burden of extreme poverty for women around the world. We meet, eat, have fun and accept donations for worthy causes that support women and children in developing countries. By adding our donations to the donations of other Dining for Women chapters across the country, we are harnessing the power of collective giving to make a difference in the world!

This month we will be raising money and awareness for The Boma Fund in Kenya. The BOMA Fund works to alleviate poverty in Laisamis district and Karare region of northern Kenya through capacity building and education, improving an individual's ability to earn their own income. This month we feature live music in our bandstand by the Schwarzennegger Connection. Schuetzenpark opens at 1:00 PM. Please note: Food and Drink cannot be brought into the park. Tasty German foods and drink are available for purchase as well as domestic food and drink. There will be activities for children, along with a children's parade. In the event of rain, we will move the entire event indoors in our large banquet hall and barroom.
