Event Details

MetroFitness is hosting its event consisting of a 5K run and 1 mile fun run/walk. Both courses are USA Track and Field Certified and located in the Wynridge neighborhood. The race will be managed by the Montgomery Track and Running Club (MTRC). The packet pick-up, post race/walk cool down, awards ceremony and celebration will be held at MetroFitness. Proceeds will benefit the Montgomery Area Food Bank. In addition to the entry fee, each participant has been asked to bring a can of food to be donated to the Food Bank.

RACE ACTIVITIES:

8:00 a.m. 5K, Run/Walk 8:45 a.m. 1 Mile Run, 9:30 a.m. Awards Ceremony (includes food, door prizes and music). The Food Bank will be presented a check during the ceremony.

DIRECTIONS:

I-85 North to Taylor Road Exit. Take right onto Taylor Road. Left onto Vaughn Road. Take the first left directly past the Exxon Station onto Halcyon Blvd. MetroFitness will be on the left.
