Acadia Ranch Museum

The Acadia Ranch Museum is more than 123 years old. The Oracle Historical Society purchased and took up residence in Acadia Ranch in 1978. It was originally a sheep ranch which was later converted into a sanitarium for tuberculosis sufferers (then called ‘lungers’.) The museum offers information on the surrounding area’s history. Today, the Acadia Ranch Museum is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings.
