Bates Dance Festival
Celebrating 25 years of excellence, the Bates Dance Festival, located at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine offers a 5-week performance & events series featuring internationally acclaimed contemporary dance and music artists. The 2007 Anniversary Season includes new works by Rubberbandance Group, David Dorfman Dance, Bridgman Packer Dance, BoanDanz Action, and artists from Asia, Africa and Latin America. A special Gala Concert features renowned choreographers Liz Lerman, Rennie Harris, Bebe Miller, Doug Varone, David Dorfman and Danny Buraczeski. Plus Inside Dance lectures, panel discussions and more.
