First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site

Located in St. Charles' historic district, this building housed Missouri's government from 1821, when efforts were being made to reorganize territorial government into a state system, to 1826, when Capitol was built in Jefferson City.


Admission: $2.50 for adults, $1.50 for children ages 6-12, under 6 free.
