Route 66 State Park

A small section of Route 66, the fabled “Mother Road” is preserved within park boundaries. Exhibits on the history of Route 66, and Times Beach, the community that once existed here, as well as a Route 66 themed gift shop can be found in the visitor center. The park also offers 419 acres of level trails for hiking, biking, and equestrian, a picnic area with tables and grills, a day use area with two shelters, and access to the Meramec River.
