Smoky Mountain Host of NC Inc. is a private, non-profit organization promoting travel and tourism in the counties of: Clay, Cherokee, Graham, Haywood, Jackson, Macon, Swain and the Cherokee Indian Reservation. Smoky Mountain Host operates the Smoky Mountain Visitor Center, a state rest area and visitor information facility located 3 miles south of Franklin on US 441, near the NC-GA state line.
