Branched Oak Camping

category : Camping
Branched Oak Camping Camping is permitted in nine public use areas around the lake. Facilities and opportunities range from modern to primitive. All campers must register, and overnight camping fees are charged in addition to the required Park Entry Permit. Self-registration stations are located in each campground.

Middle Oak Creek Campground (Area #4) offers hard-surfaced campsites with 30-amp and 50-amp electrical hookups. Non-electric camper pads and tent sites are also available. Campers registered in Middle Oak Creek have access to two modern shower buildings and will also find such other facilities as a dump station, playground, pay phone and boat ramp with limited overnight docks.

Contact the park office for campground reservations.

South Shore Campground (Area #1) offers rock-surfaced campsites with 30/50 Amp electrical. Some of the camp sites have water, sewer and electrical to each site. South Shore has two coin operated showers and two trailer dump stations. When completed the campground will feature hard surfaced roads and pads. Area #1 also provides day use opportunities along the lake shore for picnickers and boaters who do not require a boat ramp to launch and recover their craft. South Shore campground's showers are available for use by day use visitors and campers.
