9 - 10 Old Ironsides Across the Nation - The USS Constitution Museum and the US Navy share the exciting stories of 208 year old Old Ironsides.
Examine samples of objects used at sea in the age of sail.
Family-friendly activities include knot-tying and reading signal flags. Meet skilled craftsmen who maintain the historic warship, and etch your name on a copper sheet to be installed on Constitution's hull.
Old Ironsides will not be traveling to Burlington as part of Old Ironsides Across the Nation.

30 - 14 ECHO Earth Weeks MudFest - As sure as April showers bring May flowers, spring also signals Earth Day and Mud Season. We will be celebrating in muddy fashion with its annual ECHO Earth Weeks’ MudFest. For sixteen fun-filled days we will be abuzz with muddy activities and games and knee-slapping “Muddy Music", 12:30 p.m. every day showcasing acclaimed Vermont musicians, produced by family-friendly Re-Bop records.

25 - 26 The Retreat From Canada: Revolutionary War Encampment - On the 7th of May, 1776 the bulk of the American Northern Army retreated from Quebec City. Warner's Regiment (aka the Green Mountain Boys) was the last Regiment to begin the retreat, leaving 2-4 days after the main body of the Northern Army.Along the supply lines in the Champlain Valley, the mouth of the Onion River was a temporary depot and major logistics and personnel transshipment point. General Schuyler, Commander in Chief of the Northern Department, was calling up the Militia as a temporary reinforcement of the Northern Army until Continental troops could be sent north, in order to try and maintain a foothold in Canada.This re-enactment will recreate an encampment of colonial militia who were training to reinforce the American forces in Canada in 1776. This event will feature a lifestyle educational presentation, with ongoing lifestyle, tools and crafts displays and presentations (both home-life and military camp-life). Ethan Allen Homestead Museum Interpreters will also be providing tours of the Historic Allen House.

20 - 22 Marketfest & MarKIDfest - Our popular fortune cookie sale saves customers 10-40 percent at participating stores. Stowe card plus stores also offer shoppers free Stowe Card applications for every $25 purchase they make, giving them the chance to save all season at the slopes.
Free live musical performances begin Friday evening and go all the way through Sunday afternoon.
