
The Idabel "City of Lights" Christmas Parade, one of the most beautiful and well-attended in the region, "kicks off" the Holiday Season in Idabel and McCurtain County, Oklahoma. Approximately 25,000 citizens and visitors will be on hand to watch the parade. 7:00 p.m.
Over 100 entries are expected to participate which will include bands from local and area schools, decorated floats by businesses, churches, schools and civic clubs, pageant winners riding in decorated vehicles, and horseback riders. Of course, Santa's first official visit to Idabel will take place as he arrives on a Fire Truck provided by the Idabel Fire Department.
