ASU Planetarium

Evening shows are offered Tuesday and Thursday nights from Sept.-Nov. and Feb.-April. Shows begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. and last approximately 30 to 50 minutes. Weather permitting; viewing though ASU telescopes follows each show. Reservations are required for all evening shows.

Tempe Historical Museum

ASU Art Museum/Ceramics Research Center

Houses permanent collections of 19th and 20th century American paintings and sculpture, an extensive print collection, Latin American art, craft and contemporary art with an emphasis on new media. The Ceramics Research Center houses a 3500 piece ceramics collection of 20

ASU Mars Global Surveyor Facility

The facility supports the Thermal Emission Specrometer experiment that was sent aboard the Mars Global Surveyor spacecraft when it launched in November 1996. The Mars facility has a visitor area with displays about Mars and a television tuned to NASA TV.

Tempe Town Lake

Tempe Town Lake, located adjacent to Downtown Tempe, provides a 2-mile recreational haven for kayaking, sailing, rowing, jogging, skating or picnicking.
