Cottonwood Ranch was purchased by the Kansas Historical Society in 1982. The Ranch established in the late 1800's was started by Fenton Pratt who emigrated from England. The Cottonwood Ranch, originally a sheep ranch, can provide a chance to observe an important segment of Kansas Historical Heritage.
