3 - 4 Dandelion May Festival - The Dandelion Festival is held each year at Breitenbach Wine Cellars. The festival has been featured in USA Today and the TV Food Network. The winery makes Dandelion Wine and uses the event to celebrate dandelions. Festival participants enjoy sampling dandelion foods such as dandelion bread, dandelion sausage, dandelion gravy, dandelion salad and dandelion coffee. Bluegrass, Folk and Popular entertainment will be ongoing during the festival. The arts and crafts tent features fine art and crafts with dandelions incorporated.

The festival is a family event. Children can participate in dandelion picking contests and then use their blossoms to make dandelion jelly and dandelion crowns. A 5K Run will be held on Saturday at 9:00.

The winery offers tours of the wine cellars during the festival as well as a special dandelion sangria. A free shuttle to and from parking will be offered.

18 Hog Wild Party - Military Day - Biker Blessing - This is our annual, large, fun, Hog Wild Party! There will be entertainment, many vendors displaying wares, food vendors selling delectable treats, games, the annual Bikers Blessing will happen at 11am. Members of the various branches of the military will be here. We will be giving away an American Flag every hour. Come walk around, eat, see and participate in Biker Blessing where bikers bring their motorcycles and a prayer is said for their safety throughout the riding season. There will be free breakfast (to be announced) from 9am till gone or 11am.

16 - 18 Annual Dover Steam Show - Join us for this family friendly event, where old friends can be seen and new friends made.We have activities all day long with steam engines running the saw mill, threshing grain, baling straw and more. There are antique tractors, gas engines and garden tractors to see. If you don't know how they work, just ask... the good folks here will be glad to explain them to you. This year we are featuring John Deere Tractors & Related Equipment and Case Steam Engines.

The flea market and the arts & crafts areas are there if you want to browse for that one great treasure you are looking for. We have a chainsaw wood carver making some of his own creations, and he will be glad to make one just for you.

There is good food available on the grounds.

At 5:00 pm Friday & Saturday we have antique tractor pulls, with steam engines pulling just after dark, (they put on a great show).

16 - 22 Tuscarawas County Fair - The Tuscarawas County Agricultural Society celebrates its annual fair the third full week of September. Our fair focuses on the education of our youth through the 4-H and FFA programs of Tuscarawas County. Please plan to attend!

9 - 17 Warther Museum Christmas Tree Festival - The Annual Warther’s Tree Festival kicks off with over 100 pre-decorated trees, wreaths, and home decor fill our museum. The holiday season comes to light each year and this year will be no different. With no two trees themed alike, this fundraiser has been delighting families for 29 years. Festival admission is $5 for anyone 12 and older (under 12 is free). The festival runs from 11am to 8pm daily for 8 days when the festival closes at 5pm. Proceeds benefit the Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital Auxiliary which uses these funds to benefit our local community each year. All tickets for the festival can be purchased at the door (cash and credit card are accepted). Festival goers are able to vote on their favorite large and small tree. For questions or to sponsor a tree, please call the Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital Auxiliary.
