3-day festival celebrating John William "Blind" Boone and Missouri's indigenous music, ragtime. Outdoor music fairs, tours, talks, concerts, and afternoon jam sessions.

Reclaimed strip-mine area is one of two state parks where off-road motorcycling is allowed. Seven strip pits for swimming, canoeing and fishing. Camping and picnicking facilities. RV and tent sites, electricity, trails, toilets, showers and ADA accessible.
