A Tuba Christmas
These concerts were started back in the early “70s in New York at Rockefeller Center ice skating rink. About 300 musicians participated at that time. Since then, there are about 150 such concerts spread all over the United States. One of three NC concerts happens in Columbus. 70+ tuba, sousaphone, euphonium and baritone horn players from NC, SC, Georgia, and Pennsylvania play Christmas carols, first with instruments only and then with everyone singing along. Please arrive early to be guaranteed a seat! 1:00 PM.
