Fall Foliage Celebration

Sep
19–20

Celebrate the beauty of Autumn in the Hocking Hills with an educational glimpse at the foliage common to the area. Artisan Mall presents a close-up look at several examples of plants, nuts, leaves, and flowers, as well as literature explaining Native American and other historical uses of the foliage. Can you tell the difference between a buckeye and a chestnut? Are acorns poisonous? How did the milk pod get its name? Learn these and many other "fun facts". Visitors will view wall decorations, floral centerpieces, and various crafts made from autumn foliage, and they can even pick up free recipes using fall ingredients! Complimentary refreshments will be served.
