The Fayetteville Roots Festival is a four day urban music festival celebrating music, food and culture. Roots music represents a broad category of music, such as bluegrass, country, gospel, old time music, jug bands, Appalachian folk, blues, Cajun, Native American and Ozark folk music. It is the root or base of contemporary music over the decades.

Artists appear on multiple stages in multiple locations, with the main headliners featured each evening. When you buy a ticket, you’re buying into the ability to hear lots of artists, day to night.

Food sold during the festival focuses on locally grown produce, locally raised meats and locally produced products.
