Event Details
Begins with a Street Dance on Friday at 8pm. Arts & crafts, food and entertainment are held on the Courthouse Square on Saturday, 10am-5pm, and Sunday, 12noon - 5pm. Annual event held every second weekend in July.

St. Pierre's Wood Pottery
Our gallery represents vessels in forms and woods of every description and color imaginable. Our workshop is combined with the gallery. Vessels are not turned on a lathe, only saws and sanders and a gifted eye are used. We would be happy to explain our process.

Clay County Courthouse
The Clay County Courthouse is located in the center of a quaint, tree-filled town square in Hayesville. Completed in 1889, it is an example of Venacular Italianate architecture. The Courthouse is listed on the National Registry of Historic Buildings and is still in use today.
Fires Creek Recreation Area
Picturesque recreation area in the Nantahala National Forest at the base of Leatherwood Falls, operated by the U.S. Forest Service. Picnic tables and BBQ grills in the woods next to a refreshing mountain stream. Hiking and horseback riding trails and a camping area where horses are acceptable.
