Cruise to the Woods
- Iowa's largest cruise/car show with over 1,200 cars attending. Ten separate cruise routes start from the far edges of Iowa, stopping in towns along the way to pick up more cars - all merging in the tiny town of Stratford before cruising together to Harlan Rogers Sports Complex, Fort Dodge. Harvest of Color Quilt Show
- Fort Dodge Area Quilters, Inc. hosts their biennial quilt show. The guild takes great pride in featuring approximately 300 quilts, a quilt raffle, silent auction, country store, fabric drive, a home cooked lunch for $5, demonstrations, featured artist and vendors.
