Event Details

Held annually the first full week of August at the Crawford County Fairgrounds. Four-H Clubs, extension homemaker clubs, and agricultural groups display their fruits, vegetables and other homegrown and homemade projects. The livestock auction allows 4-H members to display and sell their livestock. In addition to touring the displays, there is even more family fun at the carnival, rodeo and demolition derby.

Ice Barn and McFarland Lake

Ice was harvested from the McFarland Lake and stored in this lovely old stone barn built in 1896. It was built for James McFarland who was in the ice buisiness.

Museum of Crawford County

The Museum of Crawford County is housed in the old Episcopal Church built in 1886-1888, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The beautiful stained glass windows of the museum enclose vintage clothing, artifacts , and local photographs.
