Harper County Fair

Come to the biggest fall event in Harper County! All the sights and smells of rural Kansas surround you with agricultural exhibits and demonstrations, woodworking, photography, product tents, food tents, music, games, Kids Pedal Tractor Pull, contests, car show, parade, and a huge carnival! Fun for the whole family!

Thursday - Free meal open to the public, sponsored by Bank Central. Downtown Harper, under tent. Must be wearing a fair button to be served.........12:00 noon

Pioneer Feed ........................6:00 p.m. Downtown Harper, under tent. Everyone is invited (Sponsored by the City of Harper & the City of Anthony. Entertainment will be performing at the Pioneer Feed! Farm Bureau Watermelon Feed...following Kids Pedal Pull

Historical Museum of Anthony

The museum is located in the old Santa Fe Railroad Depot. It was built in 1928 and served in that capacity until its closing in 1982. In the fall of 1984, the museum moved into it, thus affording better accessibility for the handicapped and elderly with its ground-level entrances.

Anthony, the county seat of Harper County, is justly proud of her stately Court House, constructed in 1908. The building is on the National Registry of Historic Buildings. It is also one of George P. Washburn's 13 historic Kansas courthouses.
