24 Annual Wild Dog Ride - Highland Community College hosts its Annual Wild Dog Motorcycle Ride before the afternoon football game.
Registration and FREE breakfast starting at 8:30am and kickstands up at 10:00 am. Beautiful ride through Northeast Kansas followed by a ride around the football field prior to kickoff. Lunch and admission to the game included in cost. All proceeds donated to Cystic Fibrosis Research.

15 Snowlake Festival - The arrival of Santa and the tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m. in Degginger Park which allows a photo op for parents to take pictures of children with Santa. Also, children are encouraged to bring a letter to Santa and drop it in his special mailbox. The Highland Lions Club will be serving food from Santa’s Workshop for a Free Will donation. Across the street in the Senior Center, Highland Pride's Ye Ole Sweet Shoppe will have all kinds of Christmas goodies to purchase. Other activities in the Center will include Cupcake Decorating, Snowflake Crafts, Games, another photo op with special Christmas props and a Jamberry Nails Booth. Highland Lions Club and Highland PRIDE, 5 – 7 p.m.
