The American Quilter's Society is dedicated to TODAY's quilter. Inspired by the enduring creativity and importance of quilts and quiltmaking, their objective is to provide a forum for quilters of all skill levels to expand their horizons in quiltmaking, design, self-expression, and quilt collecting. Through their books, magazines, product offers, quilt shows and contests, workshops and other activities in the world of quilting, they strive to inspire, instruct and nurture the art and skill of quiltmaking.

Attend the AQS Quilt Show & Contest in Des Moines and see quiltmaking at its very best! Visit with vendors, view a wide variety of quilts of all themes and genres, and participate in specialty classes and show seminars. Don't miss the annual show in Des Moines!
