15 - 16 Strawberry Festival, Craft Bazaar Plus Tour 19th Century Village & Antique Car Show - Hand-crafted treasures are displayed and available in the unique setting of the restored Jefferson Depot Village. While browsing, you can experience a joyful ride in the "Surrey with a Fringe on Top" (a horse-drawn carriage of course!) and, enjoy live music on the bandstand while the kids play in the free Kids corner. Early American costumes, crafts, and customs will let you reminisce the "good ole days" while indulging in luscious Strawberry Shortcake.

Fabulous antique cars set the stage for a nostalgic look into the past as they are majestically lined up throughout the historic areas. Saturday night hosts the delicious Spaghetti & Meatballs dinner in the Depot.

Why not don your old (Early American) duds, crank up your ole tin lizzie and head on down to the Jefferson Depot's Strawberry Festival & Craft Bazaar. All Historic buildings are opened for touring during this festival.

6 - 7 Ashtabula County Early America LIVE 1890 Reenactment Festival - Come see Ashtabula County's only Living History Museum as the Historical Jefferson Depot Village puts on a 1890's Re-enactment. Costumed kinfolk will re-create the "period" as you peek into the past in each restored historic building.  1890's style classes will be held in the Spafford One-Room Schoolhouse.  Recess with 19th century games and activities for the children including a scavenger hunt.  See the circuit rider minister ride through town on his horse and stop to preach in the Church in the Wildwood.  Experience early crafting skills like basket making, candle making, wool dying & spinning.  Early medicine and other old time stories and presentations.  1890's food menu, music and fun for the whole family!

5 - 6 Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival - A family oriented festival with self-guided driving tours to 16 historic and scenic covered bridges. The festival is headquartered at the Ashtabula County Fairgrounds on Poplar Street in Jefferson, the 2nd weekend in October. At the fairgrounds you will find a quilt show, pancake breakfast, continuous entertainment, crafts, farmer's market, antique engines and cars, parade, church service, demonstrations, children's entertainment, draft horse pull, covered bridge souvenirs and of course good food.

Most of the bridges have been adopted by a local community organization and have light refreshments, directions from bridge to bridge, souvenirs and a friendly smile. Driving tour maps are available at the fairgrounds or may be acquired free by logging onto our web page. The driving tour signs are up all year long so people can drive the tour any time of the year. We also provide year round step on tour guide service for motor coaches wishing to visit our bridges.

30 Old Fashioned Williamsburg Style Christmas Celebration - Romp on down to the 19th Century Historic Depot Village for a fun filled, fragrant Christmas Celebration.  You'll think you're in Colonial Williamsbug as you start the "Candlelight walk through the village."  Warm up by the blazing potbelly stoves and feast on a delectable potluck buffet served in the Depot from the Baggage Cart.  This old-fashioned Christmas Celebration offers children's activities galore.  Sleighbell wagon rides, ice sculptures, early games and ornament making.  Sing carols around the old piano, listen to Christmas stories and break the candy filled pinata.  Mr. & Mrs. Claus will be there plus punch and goodies.  It's FREE to all, so bring the whole family down for holiday fun. First Saturday in December.
