Sedgwick County Fair

Get Ready, Get Set, GO to the Fair! Once again, the fairgrounds in Cheney, Kansas will be home to the Sedgwick County Fair! Just a short drive west of Wichita on Highway 54, the Sedgwick County Fair has something for everyone. From Grandmas and Grandpas to the toddlers in strollers, you'll all find good fun, good food and good entertainment. It just a plain good time!

The fairgrounds are shady, the folks are friendly, there's plenty of free parking and free admission, too. There's the Pride of Texas carnival on the midway, Bucking Bulls and Demolition Derby Cars, a big parade with some basketball and softball thrown in for good measure. This is a Best Buy for your family entertainment dollar.

Come hungry! There's mighty fine eating at the Sedgwick County Fair. From Fried Chicken to Bar-B-Q, Pizza to Pronto Pups, fresh squeezed lemonade to snow cones, there's plenty of your favorite fair foods. Just pick out what tickles your taste buds and meet back at the shady picnic tables. If you like to shop... come on out! You can browse for sunglasses or tractors, whirly-gigs or whatchamacallits.

It just wouldn't be the Fair without the hardworking 4-H kids and their families. They roll out the red carpet to show off their projects: rabbits and rockets, clothing and cattle, photography and poultry and of course, the occasional Big Pig. Bring your little ones out to see all the farm animals. Get a peep at a sheep, hear a cow moo and pat the bunny.

This is good old-fashioned fun at a good old-fashioned fair. You don't have to boot up and down load... you have to show up and slow down... relax and have a great time with family and friends at the Sedgwick County Fair. See you at The Fair!
