13 Catfish Classic Tournament - Fishing will be permitted from the bank or from a boat on Lake McConaughy from Kingsley Dam west to the Oshkosh river bridge. Each two-person team will be allowed to weigh 10 catfish.

27 Terry McCormick Memorial Walley Tournament - The third annual Terry McCormick Memorial Walleye Tournament will be the second weekend in May.

Prize money will be based on the number of teams entered.

There will be a fee for the Optional Big Fish Pot per team.

Anyone with a valid Nebraska fishing license is eligible to fish in the torunament. Any person 16 years of age or younger must be teamed with a parent or gaurdian.

Pre-registration required.

31 - 1NE0704011e005 - Lewellen Annual Ash Hollow Pageant - The Ash Hollow Pageant celebrates the spirit and perseverance of the pioneers who traveled this area. A cast of 30 perform "The Lighter Side of Life on the Oregon Trail." History is told through music and drama. Tours, displays and chuckwagon supper.

Located at Ash Hollow State Historic Park, three miles southeast of Lewellen and 28 miles north of Ogallala. The Pageant is held Father's Day weekend each year.

18 - 21 Garden County Fair & Rodeo - 4-H Exhibits, Concessions, Parade, Beer Garden, Bingo, Dancing, Rodeo by Rodeo Rose, Balloon House Jumps, Paint Ball Wars, Turtle Races, Golf Cart Races, and Demolition Derby on Sunday. Held the first week in August each year.
