Firehouse Quilts puts on a spectacular (2 day) quilt show as their major fund raising event each year for the public to enjoy.  The success of their quilt show is reflected by the number of quilters allowing this charity group to display their wonderful quilts for everyone in our community to enjoy. 

Our fundraising quilt show has moved to a larger, more open space but still in Douglas County. We'll have of room for more quilts on display as well as more vendors, 
classes, concession and a Sit & Sew for FHQ area where you can sew quilt tops for Firehouse Quilts. 

Friday, (10am - 5pm) 
Saturday, 	(10am - 5pm)
Vendor Mall will stay open Saturday until 5pm for last minute shopping while (at 4pm) the quilts are being taken down.

QUILT SHOW ADMISSION: (allows entry both days)
    $7 at the door (it's a fundraiser, please help support our mission) 
    $6 in advance/online (after March 2011) for those wanting to save a buck.

Mark the dates on your calendar and plan to attend with friends and family.  Come support our hometown charity that helps children in crisis while enjoying a fun, unique quilt show.

WHAT IS FIREHOUSE QUILTS?
Volunteers of Firehouse Quilts make snuggle quilts & donate them to Colorado Fire Depts., Action Care Ambulance, Denver Health Medical Center, Victim Advocate Offices, Douglas County Women's Shelter and Douglas/Elbert Task Force; the quilts are then given to children in crisis.

The Downtown Denver Arts Festival is one of the city of Denver's premiere spring events. The fine art and fine craft exhibition features over 130 of Colorado's best artists with over 150,000 people expected to attend. Last year, patrons spent over half million dollars with the festival's artists! 

It takes place on Memorial Day Weekend at the Denver Pavilions. Times for the festival are Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
