Weather permitting, the sponsored sculptures will be placed along Main Street around 5 p.m. Friday evening, and will remain in place throughout the weekend. 18 Mohican MTB 100 - For Fifteen years, Top professional mountain bikers that have included Tinker Juarez, Chris Eatough, Jeff Schalk, Floyd Landis, Jeremiah Bishop, Amanda Carey and Lico Ramirez have chosen Mohican. Ride across three counties along a single loop, climb more than 11,000 feet along a course that is 60% single track, and go toe to toe with the top pros on this legendary ultra-endurance loop in Northeastern Ohio. The Mohican 100 features both a 100 mile and a 100 kilometer option with seven fully stocked aid stations. 7:00 am – 5:00 pm.

25 Mohican Traditions Arts & Crafts Festival - Starting at 9:00 AM in downtown Loudonville's Historic Central Park. 27 Loudonville Memorial Day Parade - Join the Mohican area for the annual Memorial Day Parade and Honor those who served their country. The parade will start on Wally Road next to the Water Plant. Led by American Legion Post 257 Color Guard, the parade will also stop at the Main Street bridge with a Ceremony and 21 Gun Salute, the parade will continue up Main Street stopping at the Memorial in Central Park with another Ceremony and 21 Gun Salute, continuing up Main Street and then down South Wood Street, ending at the Loudonville Cemetery which will feature another Ceremony, Guest Speaker and additional 21 Gun Salute. 9:00 am - 11:00 am.

3 - 4 The 20th Century Colonial Trade Fair at the Mill - Remembering and honoring practices of times gone by continues to be a time honored and fun tradition. This family friendly event is about keeping history alive, allowing visitors to step back in time to learn how Native Americans lived. See re-enactments in characters that are fully dressed, cooking and camping as they would have lived on the frontier. 10am - 5pm both days.

Entry fee is $3.00, but receive $1.00 off if in 18th century costume!

17 The Great Mohican Crawdad Hunt at Mohican State Park - Learn how to catch a crawdad or net other critters during the Great Mohican Crawdad Hunt at Mohican State Park. This free event will be co-hosted by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Scenic Rivers Program and Mohican State Park. Visitors will be able to learn skills from experienced river guides as they explore the unique beauty and wildlife offered by the Clear Fork Mohican State Scenic River. Race crawdads with Roger Thoma, author of A Naturalist's Guide to the Crawfish of Ohio. Learn the life history of this Ohio animal that is related to the lobster. Enjoy a savory crawfish boil and explore fun educational activities with Ashland Soil & Water Conservation District. Event details are as follows:

"The event will be held at the Class A Shelter House. Once entering the park, follow signs to the event. Please pre-register with state park naturalist Kyle Casey at Kyle.Casey@dnr.ohio.gov. Signed copies of A Naturalist's Guide to the Crawfish of Ohio will be available for purchase by cash, check or Venmo. Attendees should wear closed toed shoes to explore in the water with staff. The Mohican River, including the lower stem of the Clear Fork, was designated as a State Scenic River in 2006 because of its exceptional water quality, which it maintains in part due to the tree coverage alongside the river. Trees filter water, provide flood control, keep the water cool, and provide habitat for animals that use the river. The Mohican River is also a popular destination for anglers, paddlers and hikers. 21 Oktoberfest at the Mill - Oktoberfest at the Wolf Creek Grist Mill in Mohican has three large tents so come rain or shine. This incredible fundraiser is full of food, beer, wine, games and entertainment. The Wolf Creek Grist Mill provides a chance for visitors to help this historic site while enjoying the scenery, food and tastings all at the same time.

Oktoberfest at The Mill has become such a popular event because unlike many Oktoberfest's that only offer a limited selection of beer, this event features over 75 different kinds of beer. Patrons love being able to sample any variety offered so they can experience many different beers without having to commit to an entire glass or bottle of something they’ve never had before. Each visitor that is 21 years old and over, has the opportunity to taste beers that range from seasonal selections, craft beers, local selections to include nearby craft brewers Millersburg Brewing Company, international selections, ciders, gluten-free choices, draft and bottle selections. Wines include varieties from D&D Smith Winery and Paper Moon vineyards. This is Wolf Creek Grist Mill’s biggest fundraiser of the year. 12:00 pm - 11:00 pm

1 - 5 Loudonville Street Fair - Loudonville hosts a big fair that is truly an old-fashioned, family-oriented event. Includes five days of free admission, free entertainment, free exhibits, free livestock shows and auctions, free power pulls, rides, wide variety of food and much, much more. Fair begins at 3:00 pm on Tuesday and the hours for Wednesday through Saturday are from 12 noon – 10:00 p.m. Parts of State routes 3 and 60 are closed during the event.

11 - 19 Halloween Campouts at Mohican State Park - Join us for our annual Halloween Campout at Mohican State Park for 2 weekends packed full of Halloween fun, including nature programs, hayrides, campsite decorating, costume contests, food, games, trick or-treat and more! Smokey Bear has even been known to join in on festivities!

Be sure to grab the separate weekend campout itinerary at the camp store (commissary) or check-in building to see all that we have packed in store for the weekends!
