11 - 12 NC0210006e033 - Maggie ValleyRaymond Fairchild Mountain Music Jamboree - This Annual, two-day, indoor, bluegrass music festival is held in Maggie Valley, NC at Eaglenest Entertainment, the best listening room and entertainment complex in the Great Smoky Mountains, and is a celebration of the musical history so deeply ingrained in our mountain heritage. Many nationally recognized artists - " including our own "hometown" banjo player, Raymond Fairchild - will participate as featured performers. The indoor theater is elegantly decorated and offers 800+ extremely comfortable seats that promote an "up close and personal" atmosphere since no seat is farther than one hundred feet from the stage. Limited camping-in-the-rough spaces are on site and limited electrical service is available for an additional fee. There is plenty of room for jam sessions on this spectacular 18-acre mountain setting that has two natural streams and a waterfall. Paved, on-site parking is plentiful with the majority of the property gated. Further artists to be announced.
