Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Gardens

A colorful variety of trees, shrubs and flowering plants encircle a life-sized bronze statue of the national civil rights leader. The King Memorial Wall surrounds the statue and includes 2,400 bricks inscribed with the names of the facility's supporters. A 12-ton granite water monument honors 25 civil rights pioneers.
