The center meets ADA guidelines and is fully accessible.

Our small meeting room includes a conference table and will seat twelve persons comfortably. The conference center is a 33' x 43' room with catering kitchen, and will accommodate up to 120 people or with tables, up to 100. The room features the latest in video teleconferencing and presentation resources.

The auditorium offers excellent equipment and acoustics for local and professional theatrical, musical, and educational performances. The 76'x 66' auditorium will seat 500 and includes the same high- technology hookups for teleconferences and presentation resources. The 83'x 37' stage area creates a dynamic atmosphere for performances or presentations. A Grand Piano and Orchestra Pit are also available. Equipped with large dressing rooms, cry room, audio mixing room, and projection room, this setting provides a state-of-the-art performance center, ideally suited for cultural events.

The McDill "Huck" Boyd Community Center is pleased to offer the latest in technology resources to communicate within the community, state, and the world. The telecommunications center provides a high-tech link with business, educational, and cultural centers for education, planning, consultations, medical consults, and training.

Video conferencing is designed to allow more meeting opportunities, less travel, greater productivity, and multi-site meetings with effective point-to-point video communication. This technology makes the Center a great place for:

To support these technical capabilitues, the center has state-of-art equipment:

Sony Trinicom 51 00 Video-conferencing system with Codec/TrakCam auto-tracking camera, and quartet built-in multipoint feature to link up to four sites. Pentium processor computer, equipped with 17" monitor for video conference interactivity. Portable LCD projector for multimedia presentations. CD/cassette deck Wireless mic system. Complete audio system built in.

The facilities of the Huck Boyd Community Center, the excellent sightseeing, antiquing and recreation, and the varied lodging and dining in the area, make Phillipsburg a great choice for your next event!

C & R Railroad

C&R Railroad invites you to a quaint community tucked inside a 57-foot mountain range in the McDill "Huck" Boyd Center where intrigued visitors can watch animated O-scale trains chug through the village, and arrive at Union Station. A freight yard includes a turntable and roundhouse.
