17 - 19 Rhododendron Festival - The Rododendron Festival, an annual two-day arts and crafts festival, will be held in Mentone, Alabama, at Brow Park annually the third weekend in May. 16 - 18 Mentone Springs Hotel Flower Show and Competition - Twenty-two Garden Clubs from across Alabama compete for the Mentone Springs Hotel crystal trophy designed by Harold Herglotz. These ladies show off their talents in floral design each year. Flowers are on display throughout the Labor Day weekend.

12 - 13 Annual Mentone Fall Colorfest - Come to Mentone to the Annual Mentone Colorfest, annually the third weekend in October. It is a beautiful time of the year just to drive down Scenic Hwy 89 or to go to DeSoto State Park or the falls. But at The Brow Park there is so much more to see and do on this special weekend. Many Fine Art vendors and crafters will be selling their arts, music will fill the air, dancers will entertain you, a good variety of food will be available. The festivities begin with the Friday evening bonfire. All in all there will be lots of fun for everyone. A complete schedule of events will be published here prior to the festival.
