2 MVP (Morgantown Violence Prevention) Father’s Day Weekend 5K - The race will begin near the Hazel Ruby-McQuain Riverfront Park and will progress east along the Deckers Creek Trail to a turn-around point and then back to the Hazel Ruby-McQuain Riverfront Park to the finish line. All proceeds from the race will go towards the operating costs of RDVIC. The RDVIC Father's Day Weekend 5K is a participant in the 2014 Morgantown Area Grand Prix. 10:00 a.m.

8 Hits for Hospice - Hits for Hospice has been scheduled for June 20, 2015 at White Park in Morgantown, WV. Hits for Hospice is a double elimination, slow pitch, co-ed softball tournament benefitting Hospice Care Corporation. Co-ed teams should consist of at least 5 men and 5 women made up of players from ages 16 and over. The registration fee is $150 and the first place prize is $500. Please contact Christina Smith at csmith@hospicecarecorp.org or 304-376-1392 to sign up or with any questions. Brackets will be drawn Thursday, June 18 at 1:00pm and half of the registration fees is due by then to reserve your team's place. Please contact me by then to sign up.

Put your team together and come out for a fun day of play for a great cause! All proceeds go to patient care and all donations are tax deductible.

26 Holiday Cookie Quest - That chill in the air means that the holidays are on their way. In honor of the season, Main Street Morgantown and the Historic Wharf District invites you to participate in our newest event. The Holiday Cookie Quest will be held from 11am-3pm.
Visit participating businesses and collect or sample delicious cookies, get great coupons and savings to help with Holiday shopping while strolling through various open house opportunities or dine in one of the many unique restaurants.
